BAAHSC's First Online Workshop Concludes Successfully!

After several months of careful preparation by the entire BAAHSC team, our first online workshop was held on November 9 at 10 a.m., marking a major milestone in our efforts to support the community.

Through multi-platform promotion, we garnered interest from 44 registered participants. During the registration process, we gathered feedback on participants' most pressing questions, allowing us to tailor the event to address real needs. We invited an experienced affordable housing expert to provide an information-rich session that was both practical and packed with valuable insights.

The workshop covered a wide range of essential topics, including which low-income housing options are best suited to different groups, how to apply based on individual circumstances, whether multiple housing applications can be submitted simultaneously, when to prepare application materials, and how to interpret our monthly housing listings. We also offered a Q&A session, where attendees could raise specific questions, and our expert and the BAAHSC team responded to each one in turn. The one-and-a-half-hour session ended with enthusiastic discussions, and the gratitude expressed by attendees reassured us of the workshop’s impact and the value it brought to participants.

BAAHSC is committed to providing first-hand affordable housing information to non-English-speaking communities in need. 幸福湾居首次线上工作坊圆满落幕！

在幸福湾居全体成员历时几个月的精心筹备下，我们的首次线上工作坊于 11 月 9 日上午 10 点成功举办！

通过全平台的推广宣传，我们共吸引了 44 位有意参与的注册成员。在收集注册信息的过程中，我们还了解了大家关心的实际问题。为此，我们特别邀请了资深福利房申请专家，精心准备了一场信息量丰富的讲座，为社区提供最实际、实用的申请指导。

工作坊内容由浅入深，涵盖了多种热门话题，例如：哪些低收入房源适合不同群体、如何根据个人情况申请、能否同时申请多个房源、申请材料的准备时机、如何解读我们每月发布的房源信息等。讲座后半段，我们还安排了现场问答环节，对与会者提出的疑问逐一解答，为大家提供了更清晰的申请思路。一个半小时的讲座中，参与者积极提问，专家和义工团队耐心解答，活动在热烈的讨论中结束。参与者们的感谢和反馈让我们深感欣慰，也让我们对未来的活动充满信心。
